Dress up and Clean-up your MGB engine bay and make it tougher for those four legged furry friends from having that mouse penthouse. Using these closeout-panels additionally slows down the hot air from the engine bay from heating up the firewall. The benefits to closing off what the factory left open makes it worth the time to install.
Kit includes three engine bay firewall cover plates.
Fitting Instructions:
Remove the mice that are occupying the corners of the engine bay that these cover.
Cut panels to fit around items, or relocate items as needed.
Fit the "Close" plates over the holes as needed. This will also deflect just a little more engine bay heat from the layers of firewall to keep passengers a little more comfortable.
Extra credit for those of you whom use this: We recommend the bonnet cable be relocated into shrink tubing, greased, and then relocated carefully into the wheel well (instructions cover this neat mod further)
Included in the kit:
• Three Aluminum panels, ready to paint.
• Installation Hardware NOT included. We recommend #10 roundhead phillips (or posi-drive) screws to blend in with other items in the engine bay.
